# Deleting a Project in DataUnfold<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This guide explains how to permanently delete a project (aka case) from DataUnfold and what to check before you proceed. It’s written for end users and focuses on safety, confirmation, and recovery options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deleting a project permanently removes its files, settings, and generated analysis. This action cannot be undone from the UI. If you’re unsure, consider duplicating the project first or exporting any important data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

## Who can delete a project?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Only users with the required permissions (project owner or an admin role) can delete a project. If the **Delete**<\/strong> option is not available, contact your system administrator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
