What to Do if an Ingestion Fails
1. Check the file #
- Make sure the file is not corrupted.
- Verify the format: PDF, DOCX, Excel, etc.
- If the file is password protected, remove the password before uploading.
2. Check the connection and service #
- Make sure your internet connection is working.
- If DataUnfold uses an ingestion service, verify it is running.
- Reload the page or restart the app if needed.
3. Check permissions #
- You must have the right to add files to the project.
- If you do not have permission, ask an administrator.
4. Check tags and configuration #
- Some projects require specific tags for proper processing.
- If the project uses a template, check that the project settings are correct.
5. If the problem continues #
- Write down the error message shown on screen.
- Ask your administrator or support for help.
- Provide the file name, the file type, and the time of the error.
